manifold painting


does anyone know wat alll is involved in painting ur manifold....if it is possiable wat all do i have to watch for .... so i dont ruin it

+1. Dont do it man. not only will it look like shit, but the paint will just burn off and smell HORRIBLE.....Why would you paint your exhaust manifold anyway

I don't think it's a good idea, but that's your choice. Take it completely off and tape up any parts you don't want painted. Get a high tempature version of that spray paint that bonds with plastic. That seems like the best scenario I can think of. What color are you considering?

um you thinking the upper throttle body and intake manifod? or that plastic piece? cause the top metal piece i heard just get the high temperature paint spray it in a bowl and use a paint brush.. its way easier to do then taking the whole thing off.. especially if you don't know how... same goes with brake calipers
