Parking brake boot

Hey guys, I've been lurking around the forums for a while getting some ideas but now I've got a question for you.

I've got an 02 GT and the parking brake boot is in pretty bad shape. The seam underneath is coming loose and the boot in general looks too big compared to my friends 04 GT. How easy is it to replace and what are the steps to remove the console (if necessary).

Thanks for the help!

if you replace the boot you can go with the carbon fiber look they made for the 03 cobra anniversary models. they have matching shift boot as well.
