seat question

does any one know how to take the head reast off of an 03 stang im trying to get the seat belt guides off of them and its tickin me off

hey i just took mine off today... did u get it yet or are u still fruststrated? i didn't have to take the head rest off all i did was grab an alan wrench and used that till i got it off... its kind of a tite sqeeze u get finger cramps from doin it tho... any other questions just ask

on my 92 fox body. you pull the head rest up. thentake a skinny piece of metal about the size of a hacksaw blade but needs to be flexible. after pulling up head rest, then pullup the plastic ring , insert the metal down into the front of the seat headrest. down till it stops. push down on the headrest till it bottoms out now pull up and out. if it didn't work try pushing it down again , it took me 3 tries till it popped out. and i used a 9 inch long radiator hose clamp for a idea, straightened out. . hope this helps. not sure if it works on your 03, if its a single flat post under the headrest it should work, jim
