powder coating


im thinking about getting my eagle alloy 17" wheels powder coated and i have 2 questions
1. how would it look

2. is there any reason i shouldn't

I'd definately prefer the polished look over powercoated any day, but if your wanting to do it then there really are no negatives... easy to maintain, hard to damage, etc.

im going black if i do any thing at all i want some thing that will look good and will be easy to keep clean the only reason im thinking about it is who ever had the rims before me didnt take good care of them and they are stained ive taken them to polishing shops and no one can get the stains off of them does any one know if the powder coat that you can buy at auto zone is any good ive been thinking about doing it my self

i would get them truely powedercoated. a good sandblasting will strip the wheels down and cost about 20 bucks a wheel. then a powdercoated finish would coast about 60 bucks a wheel.
