Anything to protect the Vert. top?


Is there anything you can use to protect the convertable top from fading? I live in Florida nad have a Black 07 GT Vert. Man its hot in here

Yeah my top looks freakin awesome .. always have people askin how I get it looking so nice ..

The key is to only wash it every 2-3 washes ... but after everywash, wipe it down heavy with F21 by turtle wax .. green bottle ... just spray a rag and wipe it on .. I usually wipe it on . .wait then put it on again .. and even in the middle of the week if its looking dirty I'll wipe it down again ..

If it is going to be sitting in the sun a nice car cover with uv protection will make it last as well

I've talk to people on that subject and they all say the same thing. NO COVER! you'll just grind dirt in if you dont wash it everytime before you cover it. I wonder if they are correct. Geesh so many things to worry about with a new car.
