for your interior trim...if you're painting the plastic pieces use dupli color auto spray in the 5 oz cans....i got mine at advance auto parts $4 a can...for the clear coat get dupli color truck and suv clear top coat...t125 i think....make sure you get that in 12 oz size...5oz clear tends to sputter...$5 something for clear coat...depending on how much you are doing 3-4 cans of paint and 1 can clear coat should be enough....I just finished my center console, coin holder, and defrost vents...debating on whether I want to do the door jams or not...I probably will end up doing them next weekend...let me know if you want to see some pics and I'll go take em and get em posted tomorrow

Pretty much what jabrennan said.
The only thing I can add is make sure they are scuffed and clean. A "fine" scuff pad & 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Spray light coats and let 'em tack in between.

sweet, thanks. and yes those pictures would be awesome to see...cus I'm trying to decide if I should paint my defrost vents or not, I'd like to see what that looks like.
I'd also like to paint my speaker covers, but would that even work? like because it's got a whole bunch of tiny holes...would paint just get clogged up in there and look retarded?
and I think I saw this somewhere before but I don't remember, I would want some instructions for how to dismantle the door. I know how to take out the armrest/control pad or whatever, but I'd also wana do the door handle and speaker cover if possible.

Sorry about the late reply. I haven't been able to get onto the forum last two days. Here is a nice little walkthrough for the paint process Interior Paint and I'm gonna go out real quick and see if I can get those pics up.

Speaker covers I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. I would save those for last so you will have got some practice in on the easier pieces. If you are spraying light coats like you should, there shouldn't be enough paint to clog the hole. I would keep a paperclip or something handy so that if it does cover one you can poke it before it dries.

Interior pics - Sorry for the gigantic size I forgot to click actual size when I was previewing them and I didn't know they were that big. Also I took them in a hurry b/c I need to get ready for work so the picture quality isn't that great. I can take better ones tomorrow if you want to see more.
