Window Tint!!!

Getting window tint installed tomorrow. 5% in the back and 20% in the front. Should look pretty sick. $240 gets me a lifetime warrantee and a pretty good grade of tint. Just thought I would share, never had tint before.

Yea but what quality tint are you getting??? The guy I talked to only offers 3 grades i guess???? and i'm getting 2? lolol I know nothing about tint but I do know you get what you pay for.

And yes pics will be posted as soon as I get done cleaning her up. To many storms to keep clean right now lolol Also looking for some vinal tint covers off of ebay I think??? Need to be able to peal off for when I go out at night for cruises and cops get in the way lol

lol thats true. it has lifetime on it so its not biggie to me. the guy does really good work.

2 means 2 ply or 2mil thick

damn that's pricey....my v6 got 5% all the way around with some great tint for $150...but that's just pricing in this area...yours may be different for that kinda work...

btw...why are you going 20%...don't you think that's a bit toooooo light...

edit: don't forget to have him run some black vinyl on the inside over the dot matrix or you'll have that crappy hazing look

haha well he can do 5% but I live on base and they are more likely to say something about 5% rather than 20%.......35% is legal in NC. So i'm already pushing it with 20% and I have seen this guy's work and its worth every penny.

and with 5% on the back window as well as those little triangle windows behind the doors with something as light as 20% its still going to create a shade affect so no one can see in anyways unless they walk right up to me lol NC is usually shady anyways.

I really don't know how you guys see at night with 5%. I have to roll my windows down to back up with 20% if its a dark area

took a quick pic before work. 15% all windows. have to go back next wk to get the vinyl on the back window. and he only charged $130. said he like the black on black

had my tint installed today. Will get photos on monday when I can actually clean the car and stuff. Make it look all Darkness like lol. Yea 5% is no shit a challenge when backing up at 2 a.m. lolol but I can get used to using my side mirrors more often. so far so good, now i can throw people the bird and they wont ever see it
