I was a little mad. i was on my way to work to work a half day and then head to airport to fly out on vacation.

the good thing about the accident (if there is such a thing) is that I was the last one in a 3 car rearender and I was the only one that the cop didn't ticket.

First post here...so hello all

I used a can of brasso (~ $4 from just about anywhere) and 2 old rags we had around. It took about an hour total, including taping up around the lights, actually applying the brasso, then waiting about 1/2 hour for it to dry and then wiping it off. This method cleared up my headlights quite a bit, but it may take a few time to completely clear up your lights if they are bad. (I'm going to do mine again as soon as it warms up around here )

I would sand them down then buff out the light scratches and hit it with a good coat of clear. But that would have to be done off the car.

plus i takes longer than just the 5 min polish. Iam telling you guys that there is NO need for sanding them. just go out and buy the 5 min polish as said in this thread befor! it saves a lot of time!

this is what wet sanding does for your head lights.
