one headlight
Man, I'm having issues over here. Maybe I'm missing something. My driver's side headlamp is out. I tried changing out the bulb, but I got nothing still. The high beams work but i have no regular. Its weird. Anyone think they know what's up before I go out and buy some stuff I probably don't need? I checked the fuses already, by the way.

it's electrical...which can (keyword: can) be a nightmare. It sounds like it may be a switch problem. The switch being the part you turn to turn your lights/parking lights on and off. I had a switch go out in my old oldsmobile, but mine was on my steering column. It was like 300 bucks to fix since they had to take the steering column apart. I don't think it'll be that much for you, though, since the knob is to the left. I'd take it to a shop, it'll take 2 seconds for them to check it out and give you their opinion. If they don't think it's the switch, then they'll charge a diagnosis fee...which they always do for electrical problems

it may be as simple as a fuse or relay....which will be simple and cheap. Expect the worst and hope for the best...

make sure your pulling the switch out all the way, if it is in the wireing you probably have a short which isn't fun

Nope. I had my buddy check the voltage @ the light and its good. I dont know why its not getting power in low beam. Could it be the switch module itself?
side note: Someone threw a beer bottle at my car and smashed my taillight last night! |

They are pretty cheap on ebay. I'll just pick one up. As for the tail light, I didn't see/hear it happen. I woke up to beer all over my car and the busted light this morning. I wanted new tail lights anyway. I'll just have the insurance company buy them for me now! Thanks for the help man.
