tinit question/problem

So when I got my car 6months ago both of the windows were tinted....poorly in retrospect...

So its starting to peel and again in retrospect in stupidity I decided to just peel it off...and now it apears like a glue like substance(dried) was left behind on my window and my window has a hell of a time going up or down (passenger side window) and I don't wanna burn out my motor for the window...is there a quick fix besides getting it retinted of have an auto detailer/shop remove the""glue""?

Get a razor blade and a heat gun/hair drier/steamer. Heat up small areas of the adhesive and scrape them off with the razor blade. It's going to take some time, but it will get the job done. It would have saved you a lot of time to use a heat source on the tint so that the adhesive came off with it

+1 on goo gone or goof off. Get plenty of rags and keep flipping to a clean side when the rag gets cloged. If you don't do the razor blade right it will leave scratces.

since you peeled of the tint already, just use a razor and water. keep it wet, and go at it.
