HID in fogs not bright?

Ive been running DDMtuning 3k in my fogs for awhile now and im just not impressed with the light. I ran nokya hyperyellow fogs before these and they seemed brighter, now i know that cant be right! Ive got the smoked fogs from AM but i dont think it'd make any difference. I thought i amed them good but maybe not? Is there a certain way to aim them(like headlights) So any clue whats up? Ill post pics tonight when its dark. Thanks in advance

You need to step up to 5-6000k hids in yer fogs especially with them being smoked.
