Rim spray? Need Help!

My stock rims on my 97 V6 got really bad in time from all the brake dust and i decided to use some kind of spray.. some kind of acid or something i dont know.. u spray on for 30 seconds then clean off and it take off ALOT ... including the RIM PAINT lol..

i mean it doesnt look that bad, only up close really.. from far away it looks brand new.

What I am looking for is a RIM spray that will give it back one color and make it look new again. I am sure shops that refurbish wheels have it but I am looking to get it myself.

Anyone know of any? thanks

i did the same thing to my z28......u really need to dillute the mixture. anyway, i used chrome polish on it, and the parts that were only starting to fade shined right up.
