Fobra Question
Hey guys, I'm a newbie so I'll go ahead and throw that right on out there. Anyway, I just bought a 2000 GT and I'm wanting to change the front bumper to a 03-04 Cobra bumper and the hood to a Cobra type hood (Kaenen Mustang 95 Style Cobra R Hood (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!). HOWEVER, I do not want anyone to think I'm trying to fool them into thinking I have a Cobra. The GT badges aren't going anywhere! I just honestly like the way those two things look. And, I'm a broke ass college student so I can't afford a Cobra right now. Anyway, what do y'all think? Will I be called out for it? Or is there even anything to call out?

You're always going to have some idiot who thinks you're trying to pretend your car is a Cobra. I had an 03/04 Termi bumper on my car and people actually thought I was trying to fool them. I would literally laugh in their faces if they tried to call me out on it since I still have stock skirts, cut V6 bumper, 99-00 spoiler, V6 hood, and tribar fender emblems. You're going to get people talking shit about anything Cobra you put on your car. Just ignore them and go about your business. As long as you don't badge it as a Cobra, most people around here won't give you any shit for it.

just keep the GT badges or loose the badges....as long as it's not a cobra badge you're good to go
