I spray painted my old rims back then...

Painted them with the tires on. Did the "index card method"

1. Wash the wheels/tires really good with dish washing soap
2. Sand wheels, 800 grit
3. Wash them again, dry
4. Index cards around the rims
5. Prime inside-out
6. Black paint inside-out
7. Clear inside-out
8. Let it cure
9. Enjoy!

okay cool just 1 question when you say prime/paint inside-out, does that mean do the inside of the wheel first, like the backside of the tire??
