FAILED atempt at removing door dildos....

Well i went out to the shop and pulled the "door dildos" off got the sticky two sided foam tape shit off then wiped it down. I didn't know till afterwards that there are bubbles in the paint on the passenger side, and the paint it rubbed off all the way down the side of the drivers door where it was........ my point is it looks like total shit! Does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem? Thanks!

scuff > touch up paint > touch up clear > wetsand smooth > buff

I don't think it's possible unless he gets new OEM door guards... Those things have a thin metal piece behind it that bends out of place when you pull the whole thing out... It's not gonna look right if you try to put it back on...

Factory. Some came with them... Some didn't... I'm not sure if some GTs ever had those...

Ya I had an 04 GT and now a 00 GT and they don't have them. I definitely see why you guys want to remove them though. I think I'd rather have a door ding than that thing.

They didn't really bother me until I joined MM and saw most NEs on here without them...
