Should i paint the hood?

so i thought about painting the middle section of my hood black going down into the grille area, and putting on a black hood scoop along with it. im not sure how good it would look though so honest opinions? i don't wanna just jump the gun and get it painted, also if anyone wanted to photoshop it for me that would be awesome or find a picture of a gold mustang with it but i really doubt that's gonna happen lol

here's my car:

and here's an example of what i want, except this car doesnt have the grille area painted

so do yall think it would go well with my car?
i also plan on adding a chin spoiler btw and any other visual tips would be appreciated

that's what i hate about this forum you can't even ask a question without people trashing your car, i know i said visual tips but these aren't tips just insults. and i would rather have gold than silver or white or some other generic color because its different.

I think it looks good, I've been planning on doing this but I keep finding excuses not to. Possibly this weekend I'll get it done

I like the gold, the wheels just ruin the look. Drop it a tad and slap some chrome saleens on there.

Honestly I don't think the rims look that bad. I think they flow with the gold better than they would any other color. I have seen a lot worse. I kinda like them on his car.

why would they hate on your car? that shade of yellow looks really good on mustangs imo, but yeah i probably shouldnt have taken it as seriously i was just surprised to see so many negative comments

yeah i know they are not everyone's cup of tea (and everyone has the right to their own opinion) but they are far from rice or ghetto, they are actually made mainly for mustangs and camaros

i got a nice paycheck today so i plan on buying the hood scoop and getting the hood painted in the next week or two. i'll update with pics when its done..

I was thinking about vinyl wrapping my hood like that. How long would the vinyl hold up?
