Beige stripes on white, crimson red, or black, paint matched side mirrors, 40th anniversary floor mats, and beige bullits. I think that's what the 40th package had.

yes the stripes are in arizona beige but calling them anything but gold sounds fruity

they also had the mach 460, mach center console, center console badging, shifter bezel and other little tiny things...i believe

oh and the bullits where on the GTs not the v6s...the v6s got a special pony package wheel

Ahh well I was close. When I was looking into getting a GT when I first got out here, I told every dealership I found to stop advertising every 2004 Mustang as a 40th anniversary edition.

well all 2004's are 40th anniversary editions...but there were different levels of trim....like mine isn't the full gold (beige) package...but from factory mine has the mach 460, mach center, shifter bezel, other little interior trim, leather seats...it's just another trim level of the 2004's.

Well they were all advertising them as having the full package. You just have options. Like you can't just order the mach 460 system and say you have the 40th anniversary package. Know what I mean?

no because they all have to a certain extent the 40th anniversary package...the top end of that package just includes all the bells and whistles...know what i mean lol

even if you have the base 40th anniversary with just badges and a hood scoop you still have a 40th anniversary...just not a full package like someone like mike...

now if the dealer is saying "full" package then that would be to an extent incorrect...but if they're just saying 40th anniversary package then it's technically correct

Let's not forget the 40th Anniv. packages had color matched side mirrors similar to the 03/04 cobra.

I didn't see it for some reason. :shrug. I've tried looking for 40th Anniv. Package items like the floor mats and mirrors, but they are literally next to impossible to fuckin' find.

i think i made one but it's been so long i've forgotten...basically pull of mirrors...sand them...tape them off...paint...clear...wetsand...reinstall..and enjoy

Ok so I know this has been lagged on lol the header panel i bought came and they shipped me 94-98

so im now waiting on the 04 header panel. the bumper is painted and the headlights are collecting dust on my drawer. lol anyways heres a recent pic for ya

best angle at this point in time.
