yea i know. My mind has been 99% decided on this subject. And yes, it can always just peel off.

As for the roof, im wrapping it in gloss black vinyl (already ordered and should be here friday) And as for the spoiler...well... i dont have one! WINGLESS FTW! (car didnt come with one anyway lol)

Other plans to be tied into the innovation will be:
Hood Scoop
Tinting Side Reflectors of Headlights
Retinting my Tail Lights
Dropping the car about 1 & 1/2 inches

Possibly Window Tint (need to find a place to do it cheap/ just do it myself)
Possibly changing my red pinstripe on my bullitts to white

everyone want's you to do it because they wouldn't. i don't get the craze going on with this product. why not just spend a little bit and buy a paint gun and actual paint for your front bumper. do it yourself with the correct paint code and it will look better than the plasidip.

i would hate to touch your car... idk why but it scares me to touch my rims. im affraid its going to start peeling (i've had my rims done for a couple days is all)

As much as i want to say DO IT!! I can also see where psycho is coming from...

I did my rims only to see if i liked black rims on my red car. Now that i KNOW i like them im going to be ordering some nice black rims and tires

I thought about doing this to my 94 and i came across this guy who painted his 2011 audi flat black with plastidip and then he got tired of that took it off and went with the white plastidip and gloss roof like you want to do and well... the pictures speak for themselves

because its not just a "little bit" like you say. Ive definitely done my research on painting. Yes, I could actually buy a spray gun and paint my car myself that way, but decent guns are pricey (gotta remember the compressor too!) Then the paint + clear. Everything adds up. Not to mention the learning curve I will be dealing with. I can safely say, I am a decent Painter, but all the projects I do are with Aerosol cans. A spray gun would be a different story. If I mess up with the Spray gun, im going to have to sand and restart... (Been there, done that... no fun) Therefore, I was looking at substitutes to completely repainting the car. Vinyl wraps would be a nice alternative, but those are also expensive as well(the cheapest vinyl ive found still runs for about $400-500 for the entire coverage of the car)

So for what its worth, plasti dip looks pretty damn good (both in price & aesthetics)

ALL of THAT being said, I would definitely like to experiment with painting myself with a spray gun, but at this time the resources and space are just not there.

Do it man, you won't damage your paint at all from what I have seen. I saw a video of a Subaru that was plasti-dipped and they peeled it right off no problem. If it starts to peel just take it all off. You can feel like your car paint is a present and your unwrapping it.

Like those commercials for an insurance company, they get into an accident and they peel off the metal and whats underneath? A brand new car...

haha yes exactly! I have seen a bunch oh those videos as well.
And yes, the main reason I am choosing the dip is because, like you stated, it can be peeled off at anytime to restore the car back to original color! (as for a brand new car... my paint right now is far from that, hence why i want to dip my car) lol
