Interior Painting


im lookin to paint some inside parts of my car black like the whole console where the radio and where the handle is and also the door panels .... should i use regular spray paint or will that not like nice.... is there a specific paint for that ?? thanx

Any paint will work. Prep it right and it'll last a very long time. You're gonna need to sand whatever you're painting with 600, then smooth it with 1000-1500 paper. Clean it with alcohol, lacquer, prep solvent, etc. Prime it, spray it, maybe, maybe clear it.

yes duplicolor and only duplicolor if you dont youl be sorry... this on top of the fact that its a bad idea in general

hold on man, does your car ever get extremely hot inside? if so that paint will smugde and smear like a bitch. dont do it , u can buy sticker kits off ebay for that kind of stuff cheap. i found a roll of carbon fiber tape a foot wide and thats what im doing mine in

carbon fiber tape on the interior oof your car wow n/m ill let everyone else flame that anyway duplicolor has that shit banned (which remonds me name banned status banned still posting?) was talking about its specifically made to bond with plastic so im sure it would work great and im sure it wont smudge if you know what your doing

for any platic pieces use krylon fusion platic paint...just clean and paint and it'll stick...for the dash or anything that is rubbery use duplicolor interior paint...thats what i did to mine and its working out just dandy...the only problem is its pretty easy to scratch if you arent careful but touching it up isnt hard at all...i made my interior entirely black and silver and it used to be just like yours

make sure you use adhesion promoter as well it will help it stick and last longer

i used duplicolor paint on mine and ive had mine done for over a year now...my car sits in the sun its always hot inside...and mine still look as good as the day i did it...idk why ppl say it will look bad after awhile...just do it right it will look great...

does anybody know how to color the carpet and fabric. i heard there was a way to die it but dose any know an easier way. and would that duplicolor paint cause the carpet patch on the door to get all crunchy?
