Question

3.5" billet antenna or 8"

Does anyone have the 3.5" billet antenna? I've been looking for an hour and I can only find cut stock ones and 8-14" although not many pics of 8". If you feel like it please post a pic for me, especially the 3.5".

I tried cutting the stock antenna about 8" today and it went wrong.. I had no hack saw, so I used a circular saw and metal shards shot at my face.. Still cant get the ball off so figure I'll just buy one.

Thinking about this Billet Depot, UPR:
79-09 FORD BILLET BLACK 3.5" STEALTH SHORTY ANTENNA | eBay

Any info on 3.5" reception? I don't listen to much radio but want it to work..

Ive got the UPR 3.5" and love it but it does want I want. You gotta be willing to lose some reception but you'll still pick the major stations. I dont listen to the radio much so I can if I want to but I like the looks a lot better.

I see a stabbed eyeball in your future with the 3.5". Bend down to apply tire foam...

both would be fine...i cut my GT's antenna down to 3" and it still picked up just like it did stock..only issue was when i was driving between two mountains but once past my radio worked like normal...my v6's antenna is cut down to 6" but i'm thinking about taking another few inches off..it's surprising how that little bit of difference can change the look of a car at certain angles...

3" antenna...barely noticeable so i loved it

I've got the 6 inch (might be 8...can't remember) from AM, I love it, it's a great size.
