Painting fuel door?

Hey guys
How do you guys feel about painting the fuel door? I've been considering doing it until I decide to buy a black GT fuel door (to match my black decklid/lower valence/tail lights)

So what do you guys think about painting your fuel doors?

Personally I don't like it in 99% of the cars I've seen it on..including the same blacked out combo..however if you want to see how it looks spray it in (god help me for saying this) plastidip so you can remove it if you dislike it.

I'm not a big fan of painted fuel doors, but if you like it then save yourself the money of buying a new one and just spend the $10ish for primer, paint, and clear coat (rattle cans).

I like McQueen's idea. Just go to the junkyard and spend a few bucks on a second one, that way if you end up not liking it you can just swap back...

Not a fan at all. Why would you want your fuel door to stand out?
