Help on how to Paint Grille Black


Hello,

I have a 2012 v6 premium and if i am correct it is the billet grille. I would like to know how i would be able to paint it black. If you know how to please give detailed information.

If you are not sure how to use paint/ prep an area for paint..
I would probably suggest you spend a bit of the green stuff on getting it painted.

But search around, Use the search bar, You should be able to find a TON of paint stuff on this site.

Try the Visuals section etc.

typing on my ipod so ill he brief but painting is what i love to do. start by removing the grille and scuffing it up with ~1000grit sandpaper (clean after). spray 2 coats of automotive primer. spray black paint until the grille is evenly covered. spray 2-3 coats of clear coat. matte/satin/gloss is your own choice. check my sig for a link to my more detailed rattle can painting process

plasti dip...just saying if you f' it up you can rip it off...as much as i hate the stuff it's useful on certain things
