My seal came into Ford today. Its the seal on the door frame that is at the front base of the back window.

Ford dealer said that is a very common seal to have "rip". I have an 04 so its not that old.

What I found is that the seal is only a few inches in size and its kind of odd shaped. It has a metal frame in it that I did not know about. This is probably why it cost $32.

If you ever have that seal go bad, try a junkyard first! Its real easy to get off and took 15 seconds to clip back in.

But save your dough for something better. $32 sucked!

second unreponded to thread about verts. even though this wasn't a question. it still kinda supports my reasoning for a convertible section.
