I took a look around but didn't find anything. So here we go!

First, simply pull the a/c unit out (I don't recommend using the vents to help)

There are 4 tabs that overlap plastic mounts, carefully pry them up with a fingernail or other object.



Now set aside the a/c units or if you want to paint the vents, just carefully pry them out. (There are 4 circular pegs holding the vent flaps in place; shown in the picture above on the side of the unit)

Now find a nice area to paint, tarp/paper it and account for overspray.



Clean the bezels with light cleaning agent (nothing oily & preferably alcohol based) wipe and shake your can!



SPRAY! Try to keep nice even coats.

Removal:

Simply pull, tilt and slide out from under the dash. You can remove the a/c vent from the left side since it's easy.
(phone was dead during this process, plus it was too dark)

Re-installed: (just slide it back in, gently add pressure to the clasps to snap back in)
