Projector Lights with HID

Fairly Simple. Can I do this? I have the projector 1 piece headlight housings in my car. I heard once that if I put the HID kit in the housing that it would be to hot and burn the projector lenses.

these are the lights I have

If the instructions say don't use HID lights, then I wouldn't use them. They get really really really hot. (atleast he VVME kit I bought)

I don't have projectors but I have the 55w 5k hi/lo kit from ddm and mine don't get blazing hot at all even after a 2hr drive.

HIDs are a no go in projectors unless it is a set that calls for them...which would be the high end of projectors....only way you're putting a set of those in your mustang is with a custom retrofit...

those headlights you posted just aren't quality enough for HIDs...

FYI, HID's generally do not heat up as much as Halogen bulbs.
