New powder coating system
Well my moms boyfriend has been rebuilding the front suspension on his 74 Duster but before he got very far he decided he wanted to power coat the suspension components. So he went out to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap powder coating gun. We ready had a spare oven, a brand new Jenn-aire wall mounted oven, so we get everything hooked up and I had just finished installing my CC plates so tonight I took the big washers at the top if the strut off again. Sandblasted them, cleaned them up and powder coated them with matte black powder. Here are a couple pictures of the oven in action curing the powder and a picture of the washers in the oven.
![]() They are hard to see but the washers are hanging in there.
