I believe you pry it out, but be careful since it breaks easily and is an expensive part.

Just paint the wiper arms with black rustolium, I wouldn't use plastidip. As for the cowl piece let it be and use back to black or another similar product. Mine cracked when I had my windshield replaced and they're expensive and a pain in the ass to replace

just spray paint them. plastidip would be a waste of time on your wiper arms.
The cowl I didnt think was that hard to get out when I did my strut brace. It just pulls out, and there is 3 screws on the firewall.

Fuck Krylon that shit sucks....Go with some Rustoleum Flat or Satin black. It make take longer to cure but the paint quality is higher and their clear is superior to anything that Krylon has in a can.

And mine broke when the paint shop repainted my car, I replaced it with a CF one, I'm surprised how good it looks, blends in nicely with my black paint

Crappy stock cowls....

I wouldn't bother with the wiper cowl. They get very fragile as they get older. Yours is 10-11 years old. The only way to take it off with almost no chance of cracking it would be to remove the hood and fenders before removing the wiper cowl. Not worth the work imo.
