Hi everyone

im confused

Recently, I've been looking after my mustangs exterior bite more, since August 2010 (When i bought her) I've thinking/dreaming of making my mustang more like an 03/04 Cobra, well to be exact, plan was:

rocking 03/04 Cobra front/rear/side/spoiler/hood along with AFS 18" cobra-style wheels ONLY

No Eaton, no cobra clone, no cobra emblems, no cobra seats and other here and there's

Rest of the mods i planned were to be the best and the mostly suited for me and my driving style (Example: Maximum motorsport suspension/roll-cage/sub-frame connectors, bucket seats, Kenne Bell / Procharger SC, and power mods here and there) I like to have a "ready-to-race" and "raced-inspired" looking machine yet still it got weekend machines functionalists

With that being said, I recently found out that the Saleen look is pretty good looking and not as common and (apologize for this) played-out as the Cobra body kit (no dissing here) , but either ways, I will be more than happy if i got one of those kits

Being my Own me, I normally like to be unique and to set myself a part from the rest , from few days and im looking in net for some rare carbon fiber small non-riced out parts, basically I planned on photoshoping a dark shadow grey mustang with Saleen body kit along with carbon fiber bites to see how its gonna look, here are what I've found:

-CF side scoops



-CF Saleen Wing



-CF Cobra R-styled Hood



-CF Trunk Lid



-CF Fenders (from DMC racing)



-CF radiator cover (just lame mod for look )



-CF Dash panel (still doubting this one)



there are few more that im forgetting, but anyway, I think you've got the point

what actually pushed me more towards this idea, is a friend at work who owns an SVT lighting (he certainly know Fords)

SO (finally lol), im wondering, what's your input guys? do think plan A (Cobra look) or plan B (Saleen look with CF bites)?

Plan C: buy another mustang and get the other kit on it (no joking lol)

Personally, I'd stay away from all the CF bits. It's kinda ricey imho. Why not mix and match? '01 cobra front w/ 03 cobra chin spoiler, mach 1 c pillars, 03 cobra sides, rear, and spoiler, and if you need a splash of carbon fiber, replace the black plastic thing between the hood and windshield with a carbon fiber piece. As for looking different and standing out, I'd personally look for little things that add up to make your car unique. For example, I have purple brake hubs, LED licence plate lights, etc. Small things like hubs, lug nuts, mirrors, etc all add up to make a big difference.

However, these are just MY opinions, and it's YOUR car. If making it half carbon fiber would make YOU happy, then that's the best route to take! Build your car for you, and fuck the haters.
