67 Chin spoiler?

I'd been thinking about this for a while and I think it would go nicely with black hood, housings and taillight panel. So I figured i'd get some opinions
One like this(Sorry for picture quality was having a hard time finding pictures)

On this

^Except by the time i'd do it the black 3" cowl will be on. I guess use your imagination to picture that
Found a picture with the hood but again it will be black

And I would be going with the ABS plastic instead of the fiberglass version
But any thoughts or suggestions?

it would look good withit, but personally, I'd get rid of the grill fogs and emblem to give it a cleaner look

I can't really see giving up the fogs and the horse. I was super excited when I got those fogs as cheap as I did. It will be a while before I order the spoiler. Plus I need to get my hood back and my front brakes done first. Also want the racing front valence

But I haven't seen anyone use that front with a license plate. And I have been pulled over before for not having a front plate

Yes it's going to stay the light blue. Going to order the fiberglass one over the plastic since the fiberglass one looks how I want it to. And to avoid expensive painting and prepping I will just plasti-dip it. Since it will be lower in the front the plati-dip will with stand rock chips better anyways.

Well i'm debating which one to get now. And i'll try to explain why as easy as possible
Here is the fiberglass one. Now I don't like fiberglass as much because the work required to get to look good

However I like the design better than the plastic version

I don't like how it looks like this one kind of wraps around a little.
I know I know its not that big of a difference but I get picky on car parts.

On the plus side though Dallas Mustang has the plastic one and I live 10 minutes away. The fiberglass one would take about 2 weeks to get here. And price wise they are about even.

So, any suggestions on which one?

Ya thats true, I wasn't even thinking about how they look on the NE. I'll more than likely be going with the plastic since I can pick it up locally

When I was in Tx with a '77 Maverick I got pulled over once for "No front plate" then told the officer that I'm not drilling through original chrome so he told me to toss it on the front dash

Well here it is
Just a mock up for now though

Spent a good little time actually taking the valence off this morning to mount it off the car then realised for two big bolts I need it on the car. Plus I still need to get washers but hopefully it will be on soon. Thought about waiting to put it on after I get my hood put back on. And its getting brakes done tomorrow so i'll find a good time to do it.

And also Feb. 26 the car is getting dynoed. I know the numbers are going to be really low but i'm excited to see it run and find what I have been pushing this whole time. Doubt it will even make 200 at the wheels. But when it gets closer i'll start a thread and let everyone have a guess. Then show a video for the answer.

67 Fiberglas Chin Spoiler

I saw your post and have been looking for a 67 chin spoiler for a while. I ordered the fiberglas one off of ebay (you have a photo of it above) and will post some photos when I get it. It will be good to compare the two for anyone else who is looking for one.

How do you like the plastic one?

I would get one, but my 67 is so low the speed bumps and my driveway would rip it off.

I would have gone for that one but didn’t want to wait that long on shipping

It seems really durable and the fitment isn’t bad, I haven’t gotten around to putting it on because I need washers and bolts plus probably someone to help hold it in place

Ya the height you have would definitely have problems with it. I’d like my front to sit a little lower but not to where it would scrape on anything.
