I was looking at getting a set of dual halo with projector low beam headlights. i only will consider purchasing them if i can convert them to HID. the low beam is a h3 bulb in the projector housing. from the sites i have seen there has been either no info on converting the bulbs to hid or they say will not function with HID lighting but not exactly why. i recognize its wired differently being there are two bulbs single filament rather then the normal dual filament bulb but none the less im trying to find out if an HID bulb will physically fit in the housing and does it still produce a useable beam of light. heres the only image i can find on what the back of it looks like. http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/9...orlight1rf.png and heres a link to the size comparison between the h3 and h3 hid bulb. placement of the filament seems to be identical.http://www.hids4u.co.uk/dbimages/fog...omparision.jpg anyone have any insight on this. it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah it should work, they're the same light bulb other than the one being a little longer. I converted my stang to HID's and it was the same case, same bulb but the HID was a little longer, it fit right in there and looks great. Try going to this site, they have a good selection and good prices too.
