How Do I Add A Layer Of Clear Coat Over My Stripes?
I am going to re-stripe my stang, and this time I don't want the stripes to peel off, so I was going to put a layer of clear coat over it, so the stripes would look and feel like they were in the paint, but it gives that popping out effect which I saw on other cars. So would I have to clear coat the whole car once I get the new stripes on so that the clear coat blends in with the rest of the car? Or, do I really not have to clear coat the whole car and somehow clear coat only around and on the stripes and make it look blended in?

At the very least, I'd have the panels the stripes are on cleared. If you are wanting to do it right and not worry about differences, I'd put a few coats of clear on the whole car. You better make damn sure you want those stripes for a long time before you do that.
