Paint Hood Molding?

The hood molding on my mustang is very faded. Is there a specific paint that I can use to fix it? I want to paint the wiper arms, and when I do, if I don't fix the molding, it will look terrible. I looked around and couldn't find a replacement so I'm kind of stuck doing it myself.
Thoughts?

Are u talking about the wiper cowl or the weatherstrip or what? If its the cowl panel, yes u can paint it.

The piece of rubber/molding that is under the wipers. It is about 5 inches wide and the length of the windshield. Basically between the windshield and the hood. I'm probably not referencing the right term.

If your not skilled at using a rattle can try an alternative such as , trim restorer. You can buy it at walmart. If its a faded gray, it will turn it black. I have it works great and it hasn't faded since. and this was almost a year ago. Dont risk of overspray and such. Just use it and you will be thankful trust me and less time less then 10 mins.

Okay, I'll give it a shot before I try the paint. I'm all for not painting it. I'm afraid paint will crack and chip off.

If its horribly faded, try hitting up a junk yard and getting one that's a little bit nicer.

mothers back to black will do it up good as well. For the wiper blades, paint will probly be the best bet.

I picked up the Back to black, it was the only thing they had. If it doesn't work, I'm gonna paint it. I must say though, cleaning the cowl piece really made a difference even without being black, it looks better.
