I can't tell from that picture at all. I meant the surface of the tire that actually touches the street becomes convex. I'm sure they still work fine but they won't mount them for me. And I can't find 17x8 cobras anywhere in black. After all the trouble I went through with everyone i'm not gonna buy the same wheels.

I called my tire guy today after reading your last post and asked him if he stretched my tires on my wheels...after he stopped laughing for what seemed like minutes, he said who ever told me that was full of shit and he wouldnt trust them to patch a tire, let alone mount them.

go to a different shop man, your getting hosed

Ok I kinda figured that after reading about people with 245s up front on 17x9s but we called i think two other tire places and HP Racing and everyone said 245s wouldn't fit. I'm kinda mad now I went through all that and already mailed them back haha I wish i coulda just found someone to mount the 245s. But at least now this opens me back up to 17x9s if I can find someone to put new tires on them some day. I feel like buying the same wheels again would be stupid just because what I had to go through to get the refund. I think I saw a SB with chrome cobras that looked nice, guess I'll keep looking since I'm not buying anything til next month.
