Paint Caliper Color help

I was wondering what color to paint my 97 Pacific Green metallic mustangs calipers.

The theme I got going is dark tints, black headlight covers, Silver rims (not chrome)

I was thinking maybe Red, but what other color may look cool do you guys think that is available?

I would be doing 1 wheel at a time. How long do you think I should wait per wheel to dry, before I put the wheel back on to take the other off?

here is a pic of the car and of the wheel. Im getting replacement rims (Same ones) at the moment new so they willl look better but the colors that you guys already suggested... i dont know.. i kinda want to make them stand out in some way.. if its black.. its already dark down there and they wont really stand out i dont think.. maybe.. and green only if i find similar shade of green.
but i really dont know...

If i cant think of anyhting, then i guess black. What about red?

honestly, i'd say that red would look pretty tacky, green to match your car, or black would be nice, i mean, unless you paint your car another color or something i'd get one of those two...and why not, instead of replacing those rims with another better looking set f the same kind, get aftermarket rims? unless your getting the other ones for free or next to nothing...

the reason im getting the same kind is because these tires are basically pretty new.

the rims are only 15"s and if i wanted to get new rims with tires, the cheapest mustang rims for instance just to get ANOTHER look i found on americanmuscle and with the tire package 16s or 17s it was im not sure.. it came to $760 or so. i got the new better looking ones for $300.. all 4 of them. Most places dont sell new 15"s... or if they do, nothing i have seen i liked.

i just got this car from my dad, he bought him self an 07, i had to sell my other car, so if it was up to me back then and it was my car i would have gone and got the rims with new tires.

also i just put in a new sound system with many other mods and wasnt even thinking about doing anything to the wheels at all. so i dont have much money left so i decided on those rims and honestly they look good brand new =)

i think u have the same color as i do and the red caliper paint will look good, but i would wait to do that until you get rims because i dont believe it will look very good with the stock ones.

best pic i have of the calipers...

l;ol, good point, but yea, i spent money on new aftermarket 15's, and still i'm regretting the decision, so go bigger or not at all, lol...and ok, i can see where you're coming from with the rims for now...

More paint caliper question + Cold Air Intake Question!

TWO QUESTIONS:

Ok I painted the Caliper Black.. but the surrounding areas.. can I also paint those black too???

because it doesnt look good without any color .. the front of it should ALL look black.

Reason i am asking because that is not apart of the caliper is it?

what I am talking about is INDICATED IN BLUE color

SECOND Question...

The part of the pic where it is all yellow... I must remove that for when i do an intake installation so i can put the air filter through right?

those two outer blue dots u can paint.
i didnt paint the back of the brake pads (middle dot).

btw, duplicolor makes kits for $15 or so @ autozone.
comes in a couple colors - one is yellow - which i think might look better & more flashy on a green mustang

& no, i didnt remove mine.
but it would make it easier

Red is too way too much color, silver appears to be ordinary, black looks expensive. i painted my coss drilled rotars black and I think they are sweet. I will post a pic. sorry if i am late and the rotors are already painted...didnt read thread

prob too late and has nothing to do with your brakes but on the whole rim thing....... I would prob wait until I needed new tires or try to sell the ones I had and get new rims and tires. But that is jusm me. I'm not real big on the rims that you have now... but you gotta do what is right for you

really late with this pic but just needed to get something straight-I originally thought you were talking rotors...I dont know why???. Sorry about that, but I still think black calipers would be best for a green car. I painted my rotors black...perhaps you stll can do that, but I bought my calipers red

i painted the area where u have yellow on ur car jet black and i also painted the strut jet black too... but for ur intake i doubt that ur gonna have to cut anything...when they make the CAI's they take into consideration what is gonna be around the filter... but if u have to cut the black panel make sure it won't interfere w/ your tire
