Window Tint ?

So I went to get some window tint of the back windshield and the 2 side back windows. However the guy at the place said sometimes the tint doesn't stick to the windows with those black dots that the mustangs have.

For you guys with window tint, what did you do? Did you just go right over it or did you do something else?

most cars have the black dots, your gonna have to try and scrape them off, thats the way ive seen it done

i have heard of some places sanding the dot matrix down but not all places will. i just had them put on as much as they could and at the very top it doesnt stick and it looks a lil weird for about 2 inches but its not bad at all.

have them put a black vinyl strip across the top. thats what i had done and they only charged 20 bucks extra

+1 when i get my tint done, thats what im doing to mine bc no matter how many times u put tint on the dots its not gonna stick right, so the vinyl will take care of it
