you could either get alot of touch up paint (@ autozone) & hit the black spots

or

take all the paint off the bumper, get a paint gun, learn how to use the paint gun, prime the bumper, paint the bumper, apply clear coat.
(not easy)

or

take all the paint off & send it to the shop to be painted for about $250-300

or

goto bumpers.com & get a new painted one for a pretty good price

haha. Well, i guess you can if you want to. Not sure if you can find the factory color in a can. If you're going to go that cheap you may want to consider Maaco.

By looking at those pictures you look like you have the same paint as me: Factory Code is '"YN". The touch-up paint i bought (for like a 1 inch scratch) was YN, Silver Charcoal

it will look really really bad.
just get some touch up paint & rubber cement to glue down the peeling paint.

Yes, you'll be able to tell the difference between the factory paint & the touch up paint. But it will look a hell of alot better than spray can paint.

Dude, do yourself a favor and check with your local Ford dealer. At least see if you can deal them down on some paint. Once you have the paint, you can make a good call on how you or someone else can apply it. You may even be able to rent a good sprayer someplace. You'd be surprised if your hnest at the dealer. They can discount their inventory. I know because they do it for me and parts cost the same or less than online. Gotta give it a shot to find out. Mine is a good dealer.

You know what else, I dont see why a sprayer from like Home Depot wouldnt work. You could by some shit paint and practice a few times once you pop the bumper off. Go to town on it. Practice different techniques on the inside of the bumper because no body will ever see that anyway.

Ive seen sprayers for like $40s. Hey, when your done, you can go paint the barn or something too... so its a good investment.

if you had the best equipment ever, it could still come out looking really bad. painting car parts requires skill. I have a professional paint gun. I suck at painting.

My advise:
get some touch up paint & make it look okay from a distance. Save for a cobra or saleen front bumper.

When i first got my car, my front bumper didnt look very good. So being the newb i was, i bought a brand new stock bumper & had it painted. dumbest move ever...i could have had a cobra bumper or something for the same price.

Buy a $90 bra until you have the $$. I did that and catch alot of shit for it. Nobody likes it but me because I know its just temporary until I can buy the new bumper I really want. Yea, its fugly but its better than the crap underneath right now.
