does any one know were i can find the ford logo done in black instead of blue

not sure. maybe ebay.
the only black version ive seen is for wheel caps.

I would actually call that black on chrome. I was expecting the opposite of what it actually is from your description...

you cant call it black on chrome.
the chrome faceplate is on the black emblem

yeah...i know. but the writing is black, therefore making it look like the chrome is the background, because you're focusing on the writing, not the chrome.
I understand that the way it's actually constructed would be "chrome on black"
but the way the human minds reads it, it's seen as "black on chrome".
