C-Pillar Scoops

OK... So I want to get c-pillar scoops and put them on my car. I know that most come and have to be painted to match but does anyone know how they are installed? Is it something you can just bolt on or do they get molded? I have no idea and every website I look at offers no help. If anyone has ever done this and knows that would be great! Thanks for the help!

Most body pieces like that come with a template you use to get the piece positioned properly. Some C-pillar scoops also need to be gently bent by hand to get them to form better to the body. Just follow the instructions, and don't be shy about holding them up to the car and eyeballing them a bunch of times.

The ones I have seen use tape, brackets, and screws to attach to the window.

The C-pillar scoops install the exact same way the OEM ones do. They are a total replacement so the pins go into the same holes. The adjusting comes into place when the pins don't line up well with the holes on your car (this is do to normal racking). In that case you simply use a dremmel tool and grind away the epoxy that is holding the out of alinement pin and you simply adjust and repoxy. You absolutely want a pro body person to install and paint but if you must do it yourself, at least make sure you are indoors because you can plan on the pillars being off the car for about 2 days. It is an easy job but time consuming.

Yes, I just never sold them because it isnt a simple install. Like I said you might have to move a pin. Plus you have to prep the fiberglass before painting. For that reason they are sold as is. I just dont want someboby saying Id rather not do that work and want to return them. I really dont want to deal with all that. If you are a person who can and loves to put in the time I will sell them to you. The pillars will be off your car for about 2 days. A do-it-yourselfer with a garage would kill for these pillars. They arent damaged in anyway. 100 plus shipping. I am in Balt MD.
