is there anyway to do a grill delete without buying the kit? just wondering if anyone has tried anything. thanks

once you remove the honeycomb you will have 4 holes to cover up so definitely not worth it.
imo you should not be cheap on exterior visual parts, and look cheap save up for americanmuscle.com 3pc delete. stay away from the 4 prong deletes, where you need double sided tape to make it fit properly. the one from am.com is very sturdy and just slides on. am.com might be slow on shipping now and then but you will get it sooner or later. 6% off with coupon is a +1 too

i temporarily painted my 'coral' black, but i plan on getting the grill delete from AM.
