Blackout head/tail lights

hey guys I like the look of the blackout (or smoked out) tails and headlights. I was wondering, are any of them legal in california? If they are, wheres the best place to buy them from, and can I install them myself?

Well your 01' comes with smoked headlights, so yes they are legal. But Smoked taillights i'm not sure of. If you want smoked tail lights use this:

if you arent sure whether or not its legal, i would get the tint covers & not paint.

that way if you get pulled over u can just take them off.
...then put them back on
