visual advice

I have a fire red 2006 v6 mustang. I am thinking about a body kit and rims and want to find some good ideas, maybe websites or suggestions.

AFS Wheels makes wheels for the New Edge (99-04) and S-197 (05+) in classic muscle car styles. I currently have a set of AFS black Bullitt wheels at 17x9 front and 17x10.5 rear. You could go 18x9 front and 18x10 rear or taller for these wheels, but some companies make 19s that don't look bad for your car.

For bodykits, Roush, Saleen, or bust. Don't ruin the looks of a new car with a cheap bodykit. Spend the extra and get polyurethane instead of fiberglass too.

Maybe consider a subtle body kit like a chin spoiler, then lower the car and put it on 18s? The new Mustang looks big as it is, and don't get me wrong- it looks sexy in a full body kit, but maybe do something different?

is lowering cheaper than body kit? My car is fire red and I was thinking maybe go with maybe a black theme. black out the windows smoke lens and then black rims. Any suggestions

yeah but theres not to much stuff you could possibly do with it that hasnt been done. I just wanted to get away from the whole tint the windows and put chrome rims on it. Then again, I could always use suggestions

Springs are cheaper...

I would not recommend sportlines though...

I found out the hard way that they have not had enough time with the new body style to get it just right for such a dramatic drop...Once they come out with cast and camber plates it will be all good...

Even with camber bolts we could not get my buddies 06 in perfect...It was still alittle off but nothing noticeable...

Red and black is done to often...

What am I talking about...My car is red and black...lol

I would do both. Red/Black, lowered, with 18" black wheels.

Then all you need is forced induction...

I checked today and found some really good prices on bodykits so I am prbably going to go that way. I had another question, is there an exhaust to get to make it have that throaty v8 sound or no?

Not really. Do you have emissions where you live? You can get flowmaster 40 series with catalytic converters, or Magnaflow mufflers without catalytic converters. You wont have a throaty sound on a stock cammed V6 at anything over 2500 rpms.

I have a good idle and sound like a GT with Magnaflow mufflers at low rpms, but since I have long tubes, no cats, and magnaflows, at high rpms or at WOT (wide open throttle) I sound like a gay GT or a Civic on steroids
