Removed My Racing Stripes

I just removed my racing stripes a couple of days ago becuase they had big brown spots all over them and were becoming very brittle although i washed my car like twice a week and the spots wouldnt go away. what can i do to prevent this in the future? Im not even sure if i want to put any back on or not...

If it was vinyl, they will decolor. Painted stripes are the only way to go for longevity

Mine did that too, after just 8 months. I assume if I bought better vinyl they woulda lasted longer, but I went ahead and painted them.

I hate those spoilers Saleen or not...Thats just me...Its huge...It does not go wth the body lines at all...I think they are way to big...I would not put one on my car...Go with the S281 Spoiler...The like little wing one that comes off the rear deck lid; now that one looks good...The double stack is just not my cup of tea...

Yeah i agree it is a little tall, although this was not my first choice in a wing but it was given to me by my brother so i stuck it on there, i dont really make all that much money so i couldnt really afford to buy a 200+ spoiler

Im not trying to burst your bubble with my comments, but the spoiler is that- for saleens or equally powerful mustangs. Im not a big fan of show before go, but whatever floats your boat- it's your car.
