so a little bit ago i hit a racoon with my car. damage wasn't bad, mostly just some paint getting ripped off, but still 800 bucks of damage, go figure
but fully covered by insurance

I'm not sure if the bumper cover itself is actually getting replaced though, cus on the paper it says "remove and replace" as one of the costs, which i guess would be just the labor for taking it off and putting it back on...but its like 150 bucks just for that, which makes me think they're gonna actually get me a new bumper cover?

either way though, i was thinking of getting an aftermarket bumper of some kind while i'm at it, and pay them the difference of what insurance doesn't cover.

I don't want anything ricey, i want it to still look like a Mustang...I kinda like the stalker bumper, and Demon bumper is kinda cool too I guess...but I don't know, any suggestions?

what i'm really concerned about though is that I don't have a lot of money so I would be doing only the front bumper...would that look dumb? it's got little side skirts already but they're like stock ford ones or something cus lots of people have those. the rear bumper is completely stock though.

I'm scared of getting my ass kicked for saying this but I hate cobra bumpers...
the '03 one wasn't bad actually but I absolutely detest the SN95 style ones. I saw a mustang yesterday at the YMCA with one, yellow with black racing stripes and black side scoops....kinda made me wanna puke. especially since he didn't have fog lights, those holes look so empty without fog lights in there.

there is a conversion kit for the 03 to fit on your car though... but i personally don't like it.

cus i hear a lot about saleen and rousch kits...and i'm not sure i like the saleen one.

i think that the stock ones look good or maybe a roush or something...

abcexclusive actually has some cool bumper covers... i like their axe8011 model and their abc8011 model ... check them out if your ever bored... like me
