So im thinking of going to the junk yard 2 morro to c if they have any gt take offs like a hood scoopbut my q is if i see on how do i get it off is it double sided tape bolted screwed ?? or what would it be better if i just bought the whole hood? but if i do the paint more than likley wont match and dont want to pay to have it painted so i would really perfer to rip that hood scoopoff any ideas???

i've seen one that came off and it looked like double sided sticky tape.

You have to take the underhood blanket off and there are like 6 bolts that hold it on. Pretty simple to do.

ya, its real stupid simple. Take the bolts off from underneath and then tug on the scoop from the top.

Ive taken mine off so many times. The tape is completely worn. In fact, I cleaned it all off because I got sick of seeing the "residue". The bolts hold it just fine. Ive been just over 115 mph with just the bolts and it holds fine. In fact, one of the bolts in the back is loose because I couldnt tighten it down all the way. Its fine. I even drilled out half the holes in the honeycomb for the leds and it still stays put.
