fog light bulb..what type is it?

Im looking to get GT fog lights and after i get the housing i need to know what bulb to get. according to advance its sylvania bulb part #899 . is that right? shouldnt it be like h3 or 900_ something. id like to buy a prewired fog light kit with lights and everything and discard the housings it comes with. thanks.

899 is correct...Pep Boys keeps them in stock...

well i want to get an HID kit for the fogs as well but they are not made for that type of bulb. so my options are pretty much to by a different fog light kit that uses h3's that look similar and fit in the opening but i really hate to do that. i want the gt clear fogs cause they look so much better.

The only way I see to do it is just replace it with a look alike fog...
