Tinted taillights & 3rd brake light

Just putting this out there for those who are interested. I found this store on ebay that sells pre-tinted tailights and third brake lights. I wrote them asking them how dark the lights are and this was their response:

The lights always appear way darker in the pics than they do in person. I do not have any pics of the lights with the brake lights on. I can make a set as dark or light as you like. The ones on the Stang in the pic are some of the darkest lights we make. If you are looking for a "blackout" look but are concerned about light visibility I can make you a set between medium and dark. I have sold several sets like that and have had great responses from them. You do get a discount (on both the shipping and the price of the lights)if you purchase the lights as a 3pc kit. If you do not need to keep your factory lights I can work you a deal on a trade. If you are interested please email me directly at mike@milehighdetail.com.
Thanks,
Mike
P.S. We also have upgrade options on our lights available too (custom colors, reverse section left clear, or whatever you can think of)

Yeah my third brake light is sun bleached to hell. I was looking far a LED one when I found these. To be honest I think they are just using tint spray on the stock lights. That is why they are willing to trade for your old lights. I guess if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself this is a good option.

Heres the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...2763QQtcZphoto

Starting bid is $125 for the set or buy it now for $175. Kinda steep.

Like the dude says they will work with you on price if you want to trade in your old lights. I do believe they have used lights for cheaper too. You'd have to write them and find out.
