Charcoal/Black El-Glow gauges

Whats going on gents...

Does anyone know where I could locate a black/charcoal instrument cluster face? I'd prefer it to be el-glow, to remain more of the OEM idea. I just simply want to change it from green to blue.

Only thing I can find is white or silver...:-/

Thanks!

The only thing I have heard of is to scrape off the green film from the charcoal face & change the bulbs to blue. But the lighting seems spotty...not nice and constant.

If your looking to change the other lights in the car, check out caribbean custom designs...they have a charcoal ac el glow face, and a mach radio led conversion.

I just need to figure out what to do with the trac control/defrost buttons & the shifter.

I did that in my truck to get blue lights, and if its done well it doesn't come out spotty at all. I had another friend do it in his WRX. I'll see if I can find pictures of either one. Neither came out spotty at all. Use a soft sandpaper and work it off slowly, keeping it really consistent. It gets spotty when people rush it/use exact-o knives.

Thats what I was afraid of. I figured If I could just buy the face, it would save alot of time. At this rate it looks like I'll be stock with the white.eeeeeeeeee

It really doesn't take THAT much time if thats the look you really want. You could also change out to the white faces and sand it down as you have time.
