Has anyone got a new paint job done to there car? I have an 03 v6 and I was wondering how much I would be looking at to spend to get this done to my whole car. The colors im looking into are black or silver if that matters.

Are you doing the prepping yourself? How good of quality you want? Black is probably the cheapest paint.

black paint may be the cheapest color to buy, but it takes the most prep work to get it to look good.. with black paint you will need to make sure everything is completely straight or it will look like shit...

for a whole car to be painted without a complete color change & depending on how much bodywork needs to be done you are looking at about at least 1300 or so bucks...... but it can go anywhere from a maaco job to 7 or 8 grand... you get what you pay for, just remember that one! not saying that the highest price is always the greatest though.. stake out your local body shops.. get a ton of estimates & try to see some of the work they do...
