Adding a Bodykit

I am about to replace my Front and Back bodykit. I had purchased a Fiberlgass kit and I just had someone back into me.

I have some money to replace it. However, I want to get a new style and need some opinons. I currently have the Black Widow style.

This style was very nice, however I want to go with something more aerodynamic and something that flows with the Mustang better. I really like the Stalker 2 kits. However, I can only find one place that sells the bumpers in Urethane.... for $480 each. Does anyone know where you can buy a Polyurethane Front & Back Stalker 2 bodykit from?

I was also looking at the Razzi bumper add-on kits. They add a "lip" to the front and back stock bumpers. A pic can me seen here: http://www.mrbodykit.com/bodykits/99mustang.htm It is the 5th Bodykit down.

Has anyone ever had any experiance with the Lip addon kits? Do they have good fitment on the car... and how low are they after they are applyed to the car?

I was also looking at the Roush Stage 3 front bumper with a Saleen rear bumper.

Btw, I already have the BW2 Skirts that im going to keep. If anyone has some ideas or info please let me know, Thanks !

Roush parts only go with other Roush parts... PERIOD! Same goes for Saleen! The lip kit add ons (besides the cobra & steeda splitters) normally look weird but you can have them molded.

If your looking for poly try www.mrbodykit.com or cruizinconepts

I have the OEM bumpers.

The Roush bodykit is standalone... only thing that would not mix is the side skirts which are made for the Roush side exit exhaust. Im keeping my current fiber skirts incase I decided to mold later on.

I have already been to both sites... looked for hours for 2 night. Just askin for any suggestions on a style that would flow with the Mustang, and if anyone knows where to get that Stalker 2 kit from someone other than Crevins in single pieces.

Hey I have always liked the Invader or stalker II myself. Have you ever considered V-Fiber?

What is V-fiber?

I just want a bodykit that is going to be a better fit and durablity than that cheap Fiberglass.

If I can find that Stalker 2 in urethane for cheaper than Crevin's its a wrap.

Try www.body-kitz.com I think they have what you're looking for, but I'm not sure. At any rate they have a lot to choose from, and they sell individual pieces.

You can also try www.octanemotorsports20.chainreactionweb.com V-Fiber is cool. I think that both sites explain what it is and have several V-Fiber kits to offer

Ok, so V-Fiber is a brand not really a material? says on Octane Motorsports this:

ision Autodynamics is proud to introduce the VFiber(TM) line of products which include carbon fiber as well as fiberglass aerodynamic parts. All VFiber(TM) products are crafted with pinpoint precision, diligent care and top quality materials along with strict quality control standards to ensure products unparalleled by the competition.

VFiber brand products offer the best combination of high quality craftsmanship, flexibility, strength, and impact resistance of any body kit manufacturer in the marketplace today. With VFiber brand parts styling your vehicle you can be confidant that you'll get that look you want with the long lasting durability V Fiber is known for. Below are two videos showing the durability, strength and quality of VFiber products.
Anyone know anything else about these? Will they fit as good as Polyurethane?

Fiberglass reflects the owner and the bodyshop.

Well, I installed it myself... and it just did not line up from the get go.

Therefore im going to go with Poly for a good fit and the durability. If this VFiber stuff seems good I may go with it since they have a Stalker 2 style for sale.

It seems they use Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber in the bumpers. They have videos on them twisting it and such. It may be durable but what about fitment.

No front bumper is every going to fit perfectly - fiberglass or not.....
Your going to have to fit, angle, align, bondo, etc until it looks perfect.

The back nor sides fit... its fiberglass, it bowed out bad on the back and the back was about 2in from lining up with the trunk.

I have always heard bad things about fiberglass and it was confirmed.

Anyways, dont want to turn the topic... anyone know about this V fiber stuff or have some suggestions on the style kit that would work with what im looking for?

Since the title of this thread is "bodykit" I would think we're not talking about a OEM front bumper.

Clipping on a lip to the stock bumper is still not an OEM part.
