Decal removal

I got a 06 mustang, and it has the black stripe under the doors that say "MUSTANG" on them. they are from the factory, and I am looking to add a different decal to the car. however those will look bad with the new ones installed. what is the best way to remove the factory decals. is there a solution that I put on it from a car place, or what?

Pre thanks guys.

Thats right. Just use a heat gun and warm it up and it will peel right off, but don't hold it in one place for to long or the vinyl will start to melt. Just keep it moving and you'll be fine its really easy to do.

Heat gun, CAREFULLY. Then, to remove any remaining residue, two words:

Goo Gone.
